Prop firm tracker for a funded or challenge account

A prop firm tracker shows a funded or challenge account's results over time. Astro Trading Journal does this from your trades once you set that account's starting balance.

Astro trading journal analytics on iPhone: expectancy, net P/L of +$1,417.50, a 55% win rate, profit factor 1.29 and an equity curve.

Follow one account over time

Set a starting balance on the funded or challenge account you want to follow. A challenge account is an evaluation account. A funded account is one the firm has already backed.

In Astro, Analytics shows net and gross P&L, win rate, average win against average loss, and drawdown for that account.

The equity curve shows those closed-trade results over time.

The Analytics tab pictured here shows expectancy of +$18.41, net P/L of +$1,417.50, a 55% win rate and a profit factor of 1.29 over 77 closed trades, with the equity curve under those figures. Expectancy on that screen is the average result per closed trade. Profit factor compares the money won on winning trades with the money lost on losing trades.

The figures on Analytics come from the trades on this account.

Results by market, direction and setup

Astro breaks the same results down by symbol, asset class, direction, setup and playbook.

What each breakdown shows

  • Symbol shows the net P&L behind each market name.
  • Asset class groups the trades into forex, stocks, crypto and futures.
  • Direction compares long trades with short trades.
  • Setup shows the net P&L and win rate for each setup.
  • Playbook groups those setups under one name, and playbooks can be compared side by side.

The breakdowns show which market or setup is losing money on this account.

Rate the day against your own rules

Daily Rewind is where you mark, at the end of the day, whether that day followed your own plan.

Go through the day's closed trades that do not have a reflection yet. A reflection is where you record what influenced that trade.

Rate how well the day followed the plan, from 1 (Off plan) to 5 (Fully followed), and mark each of your own rules as followed, partly followed, or broken.

After you save, Daily Rewind can point out one pattern it noticed, and a strip shows which recent days were reviewed.
